We are thrilled to announce that Outside the Locker Room (OTLR) have teamed up with Hockey Victoria (HV) to offer support and education for all Clubs & Associations state-wide.

This partnership will have a strong focus on educating a broad range of participants, including players, coaches, committee members, volunteers and officials. OTLR and Hockey Victoria will head into 2023 with a shared vision of creating a safe environment for not only the clubs, but the individuals within these clubs, creating an enjoyable and safe community for all.

“This is a great opportunity for our organisation to connect, educate and support a wide range of individuals and clubs throughout Victoria. Delivering our welfare and education programs allows us to achieve OTLR’s mission, whilst also instilling our core values. By providing our support to the members of Hockey Victoria, we are hoping this will lead to an increase in Mental Health literacy and connection throughout the sport” – Tim Cook, OTLR National Program Manager.

“We are thrilled to have Outside the Locker Room as our official wellbeing partner for 2023. Their vision to create connected lives and communities through conversation excites us and is something we think is important. The Clubs that choose to engage in their mental health education and welfare support programs will see great benefit for not only their individual members, but for the club as a whole. We are looking forward to working with OTLR throughout 2023.” – Ben Seccull, Head of Events, Business & Partnerships, Hockey Victoria.
